Aarauerhof - Self Check-In Hotel

The staff here were very professional and we loved them, the rooms are recently renovated, modern, and come with a bathtub.

Recently refurbished and neat room with a bath tub, magnificent location near to the river. Adequate and great breakfast options with sausage, cucumbers and cheeses. Location so close to ceneral railways and bus station, the train station, Bus station and restaurants and right next to the train station. Easy check-in, parking nearby. Professional and cooperative staff providing good services.

Really enjoyed my pleasant stay on a short business trip. Newly decorated units with a bath tub, AC plus local temperature. - the staff were very friendly. - A huge variety of food for breakfast. - Central location of this great central hotel was a bonus.

The hotel is simple but effective, staff were very helpful. Location is good, at the main Aarau train station. At this time there was civil works right outside, but this was not noisy or disruptive

Clean. Terrific service. - Nice value. - A wide array of nice options for a meal. - Particularly good location, next door to the train station. - 5 min walk to the heart of Aarau.

The Hotel is is perfectly situated in town. It is at the train station and only blocks away from the old town. It is convenient to shopping and has easy access to the autoroute. Our room was spacious and extremely functional.

Almost all hotel chains in the US offer free WIFI. The high cost at the Aarauerhof would seem to preclude using the hotel for business purposes. Parking was a bit confusing. We followed signs that said Aarauerhof, but apparrently that was for deliveries. The receptionist told me to go down to the second level, but I could not gain entry. After a second consult with the receptionist, I was directed down to the bahnhof parking. I sure some of my confusion was based on my limited German language skills, but I was pretty frustrated.

The breakfast was great with a variety of options like yogurt, cucumbers, and bacon, served by attentive staff, and the rooms make you feel at home with their spaciousness and a comfortable bathtub.

The location is excellent.

I was, frankly, disappointed by my stay. The staff failed to find the Booked.net booking I had made. They were unhelpful and rude. The wi-fi is not free. The breakfast is poor and the coffee is terrible.

The excellent location - easy walk to the town, transportation to anywhere extremely close by (very short walk to train and bus stations) and lots of stores around the hotel.

Veggie-friendly breakfast available. the room has been redone recently, and you can even crack open the windows for fresh air! 🌿
